Django Reinhardt was a pioneering Belgian-born Romani guitarist and composer, widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Born in a gypsy caravan, he developed a unique style known as 'Gypsy jazz' or 'Jazz Manouche' that combined traditional Romani music with jazz influences. Despite facing challenges, including a severe injury that left him with limited use of two fingers, Reinhardt's innovative techniques and musicality revolutionized the guitar's role in jazz.
