عن المؤلف

Franz Kafka was a German-speaking Bohemian writer, born in Prague in 1883. He is best known for his surreal and existential works that explore themes of alienation, guilt, and absurdity. Kafka's unique narrative style, characterized by a blend of realism and the fantastical, has influenced generations of writers and artists. His most famous works include 'The Metamorphosis', where a man wakes up transformed into a giant insect, and 'The Trial', a chilling depiction of a man caught in an incomprehensible legal system.

Despite his literary genius, Kafka published only a few short stories and novels during his lifetime, many of which remained unfinished. His work was largely unknown until after his death in 1924, when his friend Max Brod ignored Kafka's wishes to have his unpublished manuscripts destroyed. Instead, Brod published them, leading to Kafka's posthumous fame. Today, Kafka is regarded as one of the most significant figures in 20th-century literature, and his themes continue to resonate in contemporary discourse.
