Description
In a world shrouded by mystery and vibrant folklore, a sharp-tongued folklorist finds herself navigating a treacherous landscape after the sudden murder of her mentor. Faced with the daunting task of uncovering the truth, she reluctantly teams up with her academic rival—a rival whose intellect equals her own but whose methods clash with her fiery personality. Together, they must confront not only their differences but also the shadows of their mentor's past, revealing secrets that could change everything they thought they knew about their field and themselves.
As they delve deeper into the investigation, the tension between them ignites, sparking a complex dynamic that intertwines rivalry and unexpected camaraderie. Amidst the haunting tales and eerie tidal waves that reflect the growing chaos around them, they begin to unearth a narrative larger than their own, forcing them to confront the very nature of dark and light, truth and deception in their pursuit of justice.

I'm angry that i didn't like it so I'm gonna be mean and say this made a mockery of the enemies to lovers/ academic rivals tropes
