The narrative unfolds through multiple perspectives, intertwining personal and political stakes that bring the vast universe to life in a stark and poignant manner.

As the characters confront their pasts and face their fears, they are drawn into a web of intrigue and treachery. Relationships are strained, secrets are revealed, and the fragility of human connection becomes evident in the face of existential threats. Exceptional story but a little too convenient plot devicesI really enjoyed the book. Great characters and story. The only issue I had was it was a little to easy to know what was coming. As each member goes off on their own personal adventures, somehow each piece allows them to somehow work a piece of the puzzle, but not from a coordinated effort. They each just get there on their own puzzle to solve, no interaction between them. Then suddenly when they get back tougher everything just dovetails perfectly together. Space and her humanity is huge in the Expanse series. It seems a little too perfect to have answers fall into their laps as it did.Still a good story though and enjoyable. Amos, Bobbie and Avasarala are my favorite characters. After finally seeing the series on TV, I was amazed at the actors who portray these three. They not only each brought their characters alive from the written page but were almost exactly as I pictured them in my head before seeing the show. To have made a character so true to the books is an amazing talent, that they found three actors to do this is exceptional.
