Jami was a prominent Persian poet, scholar, and mystic of the Timurid era, born in 1414 in Khorasan, Iran. Jami's poetry includes ghazals, masnavis, and rubaiyat, which explore themes of love, divine beauty, and the quest for truth. His most celebrated work, the 'Haft Awrang' or 'Seven Thrones,' is a collection of poems that illustrate the fusion of the mystical and the philosophical in his thought.
