À propos de l'auteur

Django Reinhardt was a pioneering Belgian-born Romani guitarist and composer, widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Born in a gypsy caravan, he developed a unique style known as 'Gypsy jazz' or 'Jazz Manouche' that combined traditional Romani music with jazz influences. Despite facing challenges, including a severe injury that left him with limited use of two fingers, Reinhardt's innovative techniques and musicality revolutionized the guitar's role in jazz. His improvisational skills and distinctive sound garnered him international acclaim and a devoted following.
