Maajid Nawaz is a British political activist, author, and former Islamist extremist who has become a prominent voice advocating for reform within Islam. Nawaz is the co-founder of the Quilliam Foundation, a counter-extremism think tank that seeks to challenge and change the narratives surrounding radicalism. He has authored several books, including "Radical: My Journey out of Islamist Extremism," where he shares his personal journey and insights on the nature of extremism. Through his writing, public speaking, and media appearances, he aims to foster dialogue around Islam and encourage a more peaceful coexistence among different cultures and beliefs.
