Nikolai Bukharin
저자에 대하여
Nikolai Bukharin was a prominent Russian communist revolutionary, political theorist, and economist who played a significant role in the early Soviet Union. Born in Moscow in 1888, he became involved in revolutionary activities at a young age and was a key member of the Bolshevik Party. Bukharin was known for his intellectual contributions to Marxist theory and was a staunch advocate of the New Economic Policy (NEP) in the 1920s, which allowed for some private enterprise amid the push for socialism. His writings, including 'The ABC of Communism', aimed to educate the masses about communist principles and the goals of the Soviet state.
Throughout his career, Bukharin held various influential positions within the Communist Party and the Soviet government. However, during the late 1930s, he fell victim to the political purges initiated by Joseph Stalin, leading to his arrest and execution in 1938. Despite his tragic end, Bukharin's legacy as a theorist and his early contributions to Soviet ideology continue to be studied and debated among scholars of Soviet history and Marxism.
