Aristotle was a prominent Greek philosopher and polymath, whose works have had a profound influence on various fields including philosophy, science, and ethics. Born in 384 BC in Stagira, he became a pupil of Plato and later the tutor of Alexander the Great. His contributions to philosophy include the establishment of formal logic and the exploration of metaphysics, ethics, and political theory.
