Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan are excitedly on the hunt for their dream home, envisioning a perfect future together. With high hopes, they set their sights on a remote property that seems to check all their boxes. However, upon visiting the house, they unwittingly step into a dark and mysterious world that challenges the very foundation of their relationship.

As they explore the seemingly idyllic setting, they uncover hidden secrets that test their trust in one another. The house whispers tales of its past, and Tricia finds herself drawn into a web of deception and intrigue. With each revelation, the couple must navigate their fears and misgivings, grappling with the unsettling realization that everything may not be as it appears.

As tensions rise and buried truths come to light, Tricia and Ethan’s love is put to the ultimate test. Can they confront the lies that surround them, or will the shadows lurking within their new home tear them apart?

Känslomässig palett: breathtaking, brilliant, captivating, complex

I loved this book, and I love how freida mcfadden never fails to surprise us with her twisted plot. I hope she writes even better books in her future. Best of luck to her
