关于作者

Hilma af Klint was a pioneering Swedish artist and an important figure in the development of abstract art. Born in Stockholm in 1862, she studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Af Klint's work is notable for its vibrant colors and geometric forms, which she described as a means of expressing spiritual ideas. Often ahead of her time, she began creating abstract paintings as early as 1906, long before the term 'abstract art' was widely recognized or accepted. Her art was deeply influenced by her interest in spirituality and theosophy, reflecting her belief in a higher reality beyond the physical world.

Throughout her life, af Klint created a substantial body of work that remained largely unrecognized during her lifetime, as she chose to keep much of it private. It wasn't until decades after her death that her contributions to modern art were fully acknowledged. Today, she is celebrated for her visionary approach and is seen as a forerunner to artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian. Her legacy continues to inspire contemporary artists and art lovers worldwide.
