Lucern is a single, grumpy writer . a hermit among the family. yet his books show so much passion they were classified as Paranormal romance. what people don't know is that they are fact.Kate is his newly appointed editor and her job is on the line, she has to get him to do a book tour or else!Kate decides to visit luc, and stay until she convinces him to do a book tour.Kate turns up on his doorstep only to find him rude and abrasive. he does take her in and eventually his walls break down. I was laughing at bits in this book. I found tis to be quite enjoyable. however, same storyline format, but tweak in different ways to keep it interesting. there are some characters in this book that I'd like to see again, such as Chris and Lady Barrow.

Single White Vampire is a fun novel about a male vampire that writes 'true' stories about his family but the world thinks the books are Romantic fiction. Lucern Argeneau is a curmudgeonly 612 year old vampire, who is bored with his long life. He writes novels to fill his time but life has be come beyond mundane UNTIL his new book editor Kate C. Leever shows up at his front door. Although I had fun reading this book, the whole strong quiet vampire who doesn't put up with anyone's sh!t ... except his Mother's, brothers, and now new editor. He doesn't even stand up to the nasty boss at the publishing house. Lucern's character just seemed so MEH. I give this book 3.5 stars.
