In the present day, Takeo, a descendent of a swordsmith, meets Kuraki, a shaman of an old family in Izumo. An ancient kingdom was located in Izumo. Because of the mens' karma, or fate, they are involved in mysterious accidents caused by the spirits of Izumo clan.
