WOW!...wow, wow, wow! This book was not like anything I expected it to be and I am so immensely glad. The three stories weave seamlessly together but still stand their own ground. The characters are creative and witty and the stories are filled with humor and adventure and...LOVE! I am not sure who came up with the idea but these authors produced such a wonderful book together. The first story is written by Maureen Johnson (who I now want to read much more from). We are introduced to ultimately all of the important characters but we just don't know it yet. Her story is hilarious and heartfelt, a combination that I totally didn't expect. The second story is written by John Green and he lives up to his reputation once again producing an adventure filled story that still keeps the Christmas spirit and love alive. The final story is written by Lauren Myracle (another author I want to explore more from). This story provides the more serious tone of the meaning of Christmas but somehow finds a way to twist back in every other character we have already met throughout the book. The last few pages were BRILLIANT and this novel ends with a perfect tied bow just like a Christmas present. GO READ THIS BOOK!!!
