I've spent every spare time reading this, and this one was quite emotional, especially chapter 62... OMG 😭😭😭 flowing.this is another favorite series, at one point I was worried there would be a horrible plot twist, but thankfully this didn't come to pass, instead we get a story that was like catching up on what has been going on, and also centered on Elena and her family, which I loved, and as I said the penultimate chapter was just emotional for me.I really enjoyed Vivek and Katrina's interactions, and hopefully we see more developing there. in one way the book shocked me on how Time had passed, Sarah and Deacons baby now a grown woman.the new edition to the cadre will be interesting and hopefully we hear more there too. the book wasn't as dramatic as others previously, the ending of the 'test' was quite tame in reality, but because no one died, it was okay with me 🫣. overall I really enjoyed being back with Elena and Raphael.
Love this series. This feels very much like the end of a series book, and Nalini Singh has tied up many of the background running storylines. I am really hopefully we get more, at least some short stories. 4.5 🌟
