This is just PAIN.
The Alliance is officially trying to stop Eren, and I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to feel about any of this. You have people who spent years hating each other now working together because the alternative is literally the end of the world.
And the fact that they have to fight Eren after everything they've been through???
Horrible.
I also really liked seeing the characters actually confront the things they've done. Nobody gets to pretend they're innocent anymore.
The Annie/Reiner/Falco side of things was also surprisingly emotional.
But Eren being at the center of all of this is what gets me. This isn't some random villain they have to defeat. This is their friend.
And that's what makes everything hurt so much more.
After breaking through a stronghold of old friends and enemies, Zeke hands down his plan for the Eldians to Eren. But what Eren was plotting with his rumbling powers leaves his brother in the dust, betrayed and alone once more. Now, with some help from Ymir, a parade of massive Titans are roused from their centuries-long slumber, breaking free of the Walls to answer their founder’s call. Where the march leads, only Eren knows…
