A leitura foi muito arrastada. Teve hora que parecia que nunca ia acabar.
O primeiro livro já não tinha me conquistado tanto, e agora, com essa sequência, senti a mesma coisa.
O pior é que a história tem potencial, mas nada está me prendendo de verdade.
Nesse volume, o Memnon descobre a verdade sobre o que aconteceu e fica cheio de arrependimento pelo que fez com a Selene.
Essa parte me agradou, porque eu adoro ver o homem correndo atrás da garota pra reconquistar ela, e o Memnon é cadelinho, o que eu costumo amar.
Mas, no geral, o romance não me encantou tanto.
Acho que meu problema maior é com a Selene.
Não consegui gostar dela. Achei uma personagem meio cansativa.
Ela tenta passar uma imagem de fodona, independente e perigosa, mas... não convenceu.
O Memnon vive dizendo que ela é uma guerreira imbatível, mas na prática, parece que ele sempre tem que salvar ela.
E ainda tem uma máfia mágica, que simplesmente não me interessou.
Sempre que falava disso eu tinha vontade de pular as páginas.
Enfim, a leitura foi arrastada, os personagens não me prenderam e o enredo novo não me animou.
Mas… o próximo livro vai mostrar como o casal se conheceu pela primeira vez e talvez isso me agrade mais.
