It contains the two mysteries written solely by ALL I CAN GET (1959) and LIKE ICE SHE WAS (1960) that feature the relatively tough detective, Lou Largo. In his introduction, Francis M. Nevins places the Ard novels in historical context and tells us about the man who wrote them, dying of cancer at the age of 37. He could have written so many more great books!
