Madison has been ordered by friend, room-mate and boss (Sadie Stanton) to go away for a weekend and try to relax. Although Madison resists at first, she soon meets a handsome man who helps her do just that…until the two of them are embroiled in the mystery of a murder, with Madison’s handsome man as the prime suspect!
This story is a "Between the Tales" short story set in the Adelheid Series world. It is the first in the Between the Tales shorts, and set between "When Forever Died (Adelheid #2)" and "Voracious (Adelheid #3)".
