It has been 400,000 years since Man rose to the top of the animal kingdom. Today it is threatened by a global revolution, a revolution of animal origin. All over the world, different species behave aggressively against humans.

These coordinated attacks respond to an unknown signal emitted from the deep end of the Pacific Ocean, in a place deemed inaccessible, Horizon Deep. The company Innerspace, specialist in advanced technology in extreme conditions, is tasked by the authorities with recovering the strange transmitter. Its best response team then joined an underwater oceanographic laboratory near the Tonga Trench, above the location where the signal was emitted.
