FENN GREAT HUNTER

"I'm a thinker not a fighter", Fenn said to herself behind the safety of the walls of her inner-city home with twins, Tania and Tim. Content with her life of sleeping, watching the world go by and secretly helping the twins with their homework, her only concern is that she has no memory of how she came to live in the city. But fate has plans for her as she is thrust into the secret and unforgiving world of cats unknown to humans. Driven from home by a hungry rat pack, she finds her courage and learns that she is descended from a long line of ‘Great Hunters’ who hold a place on the Ancient Council of Cats. The Ancient Council is in trouble and only the skills of a Great Hunter can save them. Young, timid and more scientist than a warrior, Fenn sets out on a mission to rescue the Ancient Council and win her birthright of a seat on the Council. Saving the Council launches Fenn into a whirlwind of adventures as she travels the world solving mysteries that threaten cats everywhere and her human family. Assisted by the mystical Grey Cat, Fenn grows in wisdom and courage, until her exploits are legendary among animal and bird species. In her missions, Fenn encounters modern-day pirates; cunning and corrupt business people; a mystical aboriginal elder; gold-hungry cats; and a dragon-horse. The birth of Fenn’s kittens brings her into conflict with the Ancient Council and solves the puzzle of why she came to live in the city.
