You're a survivor babe. I was really excited to read this book and very disappointed. I enjoyed another book by the same author so I knew what type of book I was expecting but the plot/characters were exhausting. You would think reading about a Final Girl would be exciting or interesting but it really wasn't. A good portion of the book, nothing happens. Not until you get through 76% of the book does it start to pick up. Also, the characters are ANNOYING. And I get characters have to do things to make the plot move but I felt there was too much repetition to the dialogue, the twists were not really a twist, and the characters were flat. I think Quin had potential to really show something but she was not likeable.
Solid Riley Sager book. But not on the level of House Across the Lake and Home Before Dark.
This book had me going 'What the fuck' every chapter. That being said, the fucked up shit happening was oddly engrossing.
