I thought that the last book couldn't have any more tough topics but I was wrong. Volume 5 brings another tough topic to the forefront - long distance relationships and following your dreams. In this volume, Nick, Tara, and Elle are working on Uni applications, Uni visits, and figuring out what they want to study and where they should go, considering that some places may require leaving some very important people behind. Can they deal with long-distance relationships? With such an open and honest conversation/relationship, their love should be able to conquer all.The second part that this book deals with is intimate relationships and the discussion of sex. Many students Nick and Charlie's age feel pressure to have sex for the first time and assume that everyone around them is doing it too. But this can be a huge deal in a relationship and taking the time to think through it and discuss with each other is what is best. For Nick and Charlie, both of them have insecurities, but discussing them with each other helps them understand one another better. We continue to see information about Charlie's mental health as well, which is depicted so real and raw. It is important for readers to see that therapy can actually be a good thing and can help so many people get through tough times. Their relationship is so pure, so supportive, and just so precious! I cannot wait for Volume 6!Quotes:"Well, we've talked about how it makes you feel anxious when you're in a situation where you don't have control. Or, at least, you feel like you don't have control. Sabía que apenas tuviera este libro en mis manos no podría parar de leerlo, y haber estado sin internet en mi casa fue la "excusa" perfecta para por fin sentarme a leer esta maravillosa aventura que es la vida de Charlie y Nick.Si algo que me gusta mucho de este formato de lectura, es que es ligero y rápido de leer; sin embargo no se siente rápida para nada, es como si realmente Charlie y Nick existieran, en la vida real (aunque probablemente por ahí afuera debe haber algún Charlie y Nick).Siempre algo que destaco es la representación de todo tipo. La primera vez que leí Heartstopper, más o menos en el 2021, no creía que una serie de "cómics" podría llegar a mi de tal forma que me sintiera identificada. A finales de 2022 me di cuenta que podría ser bi y de cierta forma me identifique en Nick, nunca había sentido algo parecido y estaba muy confundida. Un año después, aún sigo haciéndome muchas preguntas, pero se quién soy.No puedo creer que este hermoso universo pronto se terminará con el volumen 6.
