Hope from Desperation

September 1942, Poland, life was horrific for everyone, especially for a Jewish child. When soldiers come to take the children living in a Polish ghetto, Gerta, a 14-year-old girl, is moved to a German orphanage by her parents. With no choice but to keep up the pretense, Gerta is taken as a governess by a Nazi physician. Hatred and heartache overcome her when she is violently assaulted, and sees friends and family fall victim to the Nazis. For Gerta, When morality intertwines with the fine thread of insanity, she will make decisions that impact everyone involved.
