الوصف

Gaius Julius Caesar (July 100 BC – 15 March 44 BC) was a Roman general, statesman, Consul, and notable author of Latin prose. He played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire

During his lifetime, Caesar was regarded as one of the best orators and prose authors in Latin—even Cicero spoke highly of Caesar's rhetoric and style.

Only Caesar's war commentaries, however, have survived to modern day.

Included in this collection are all the surviving war commentaries. These include:

• Commentaries on the Gallic War
• Commentaries on the Civil War
• The Alexandrian War
• The African War
• The Spanish War (The Hispanic Wars)

Included is also a link to a free audiobook version of Commentaries on the Gallic War.
