An amazing assortment of food from around the world is available now in shops, markets and supermarkets. A large proportion of the food we eat has been processed in some way in a country far from where it is consumed. Raw food and some partially processed foods come with their own complement of bugs. Some of these bugs are harmless, others would do us harm. Various types of food are discussed together with the harmful bugs normally associated with them.
