La Méchante Reine n'a pas toujours été mauvaise...
Il était une fois une jeune femme qui ignorait qu'elle était belle. Si belle qu'un roi en tomba éperdument amoureux. Il l'épousa et l'emmena vivre dans son château, avec sa fille. Entourée par l'amour du roi et de cette petite fille qu'elle aimait comme sa propre enfant, la nouvelle reine s'épanouit.
Malheureusement, la guerre éclata et le roi y laissa la vie. Le coeur de la reine se brisa, se flétrit. Elle se retrouva seule à la merci d'un miroir maudit qui chaque jour lui rappelait sa triste enfance, malmenée par un père détestable. Chaque jour qui passait l'éloignait un peu plus de Blanche-Neige - jusqu'au matin où Blanche-Neige devint la plus belle de toutes, et où la reine réclama son coeur...

I love it! It adds so much depth to every character and to the movie
I have been wanting to read this book since the moment I knew it existed, and now that I have all I can say is that it was better that what I expected. Learning more about the "Wicked" Queen's vulnerabke side hits a soft spot in your heart if you have experienced something similar. We all have to deal with bad things. How you deal with them is who you would become in the future. Definitely a must read if you love Disney, gives you a different perspective of this iconic character.
