Leo Harrison is focused on winning the Frozen Four for Boston University and signing his contract with the Bruins. He’s got a supportive family, a team who respects him as their captain, and a reputation for avoiding relationships. That is, until a beautiful brunette walks into his parent’s bar to interview him for the school paper, and he’s suddenly focused on one woman and one woman only.

Sophia Grimes has two goals for her senior finish writing her first novel and get home to her family in Oahu. Writing for the school newspaper isn’t supposed to be a full-time gig, and interviewing a notoriously cocky hockey player is the last thing she wants to do. But when she finds herself wanting to experience passion once before graduation, she knocks on Leo’s door for help.

What starts off as a one-night arrangement quickly morphs into more, but Leo’s about to begin a career with the Boston Bruins and Sophia can’t live without her family in Oahu. With post-graduation plans more than five-thousand miles apart, Leo and Sophia must either acknowledge their inevitable separation or figure out a way to stay together without losing the things they want most.
