This anthology contains 4 novellas, I picked it up because Nalini Singh (who has so far never disappointed me with her writing) wrote one of them but I enjoyed all of them. Nalini Singh's novella, Secrets at Midnight is a Psy-Changling story which I LOVE ... this story of Bastien Michael Smith and his mate Kirby. Ilona Andrews’ novella, Magic Steals is in Kate Daniels' world ... I need to read book one. Lisa Shearin’s novella, Lucky Charms is a Supernatural Protection and Investigations (SPI story); I need to pick up more of these this was a fun story. I will say that although, I really enjoyed The Beast of Blackmoor by Mila Vane it doesn't fit the general tone of the other novellas and was a bit jarring. I give this book 4.5 stars
