Penrod Jashber

This volume features PENROD JASHBER, the THIRD and very hard to find novel (with all the original illustrations) of the acclaimed Penrod Trilogy by american author Booth Tarkington, winner twice of the Pulitzer Prize for his novels Alice Adams and Magnificent Ambersons (considered the author's best, and one of the "best 100 hundred novels of all times").

Penrod is a collection of comic sketches that follows the misadventures of Penrod Schofield, an eleven-year-old boy growing up in the pre-World War I Midwestern United States, in a similar vein to Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer. Penrod appeared in two previous books, Penrod, Penrod and Sam, that we published in a separate volume.
