Simple and quick. I was hoping for a bit more meat with this book. Very fast burn, basically Insta-love, which is not my favorite. Also quite a bit melodramatic, all the feelings were big feelings. Lots of wild mood shifts, jumping into arms, declaring love and the like. It had the bones of a good, emotional story but didn't have the meat. Things move along very quickly, difficult decisions are made within hours. I enjoyed the FMC being completely deaf. She could read voices like a pro, which makes me wonder how long she's been deaf to have such perfect speech. All in all, not bad, but nothing deep or satisfying.
