الوصف

This tragic and horrifying story plays out in the outer north London borough of Barnet and is told primarily from the perspective of a Metropolitan police officer.

What could possibly cause a person whose heart has stopping beating, whose blood no longer pumps around their body, to be capable of still walking around, running and attacking anyone with meat still on their bones? The very idea seemed to fly in the face of the most basic rules of everything known about biology.

One man holds the answer; Dr Rajesh Shah, Geneticist. Unfortunately he was the first to be stricken by the infectious cellular necrosis that spread through his body, killing him from within, and yet refusing to let his body rest. Can his animated remains still hold the answer to preventing the further spread of this epidemic?

Constable Mustafa Dogan, abandoned within the quarantine zone by the very organization for which he works, must attempt to make his way on foot to the perimeter cordon and escape the ensuing madness and carnage. Several other desperate survivors attach themselves to him along his journey, seeking guidance and hoping to find strength in numbers.

The motley band of survivors soon discover that the horrific affliction is not merely limited to humans; all mammalian life is susceptible to the viral death that turns even herbivores into enraged man-eaters. But it’s when a few of the hordes of undead begin to turn into something different that matters really take a turn for the worse.
