الوصف
One bullet can change the world. It can start a war. It can trigger a new beginning. It can end something altogether. In the case of THE 8TH ASSASSIN, one bullet is all that’s needed to ignite a story of revenge, hope, family and the struggle to discover one’s own identity that will span cities as disparate as Sarajevo, Vienna and Detroit. It began in 1914 when the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his pregnant wife Sophie were assassinated in Sarajevo. Their deaths ignited World War I. But in this story, it also sparked the beginning of the saga of Sophie’s yet-to-be-born son, Julius. He was secretly delivered minutes after the assassination then hidden in Switzerland under an assumed identity. Years later, when Julius comes of age and learns his true identity, he narrowly escapes his own death while the lives of those closest to him are jeopardized because of the publicity his newfound identity brings. He journeys to America following a clue about the whereabouts of both his long list family and those who tore it apart.
