The Alpha Initiative

“Our world is swiftly becoming uninhabitable, but there is still hope for mankind. Hope in the form of the Alpha Initiative.” Humanity is on the brink of extinction, but the Alpha Initiative discovered a distant planet compatible with human life. It is mankind’s last hope… but only if you are lucky enough to win the lottery. For Jai and Siya, winning the lottery and escaping poverty is a pipe dream, but by a stroke of luck, they both win a coveted spot aboard Alpha 22, the newest state-of-the-art ship destined for the Alpha Colony. They will travel through space in cryosleep until they reach their destination and their new lives. But they wake too early. The ship is still hurtling through space. As they race to discover what went wrong, the ship reveals its dark secrets. Nothing aboard is real. All the doors are sealed. Welcome to the Alpha Initiative. The Alpha Initiative is the first of the Chronicles Of The Future, a series of short stories and novellas of the futures in my imagination. They will all be standalones and can be read in any order. This installment is perfect for fans of Black Mirror and Twilight Zone.
