عرض الكلInes Johnson’s The Beastly Crown is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, infused with fresh perspectives this quick novella kept me enchanted from beginning to end. Belle and Adom’s dynamic is beautifully crafted, especially when Adom realizes Belle’s concern lies more with her dress being unseen than with his appearance. Johnson masterfully conveys their emotions, making you believe every moment. Enchanting as it is engaging—I loved every moment!
This is for all the girlies that wanted the Beast to stay a beast. This is a quick lil take on Beauty and the Beast. I wish this wasn't a novella. I would have liked to get to know the characters a bit more. There's a lot we don't know about the actual lore of the land and we're just thrown in the middle of it. This is very much insta-love. But if you ask me why Belle fell for Adom, I couldn't tell you. She went from I can tailor your clothes better to I'm in love with you in the blink of an eye. Charlotte and Jorge storyline was very random. I understand it'll get told more in the next one. It just didn't really fit here.I enjoyed what I read, but by the end I was left with a lot of questions.Thank you to Greys Promos and the author for the ARC!
