Penny and Nicholas Manning were fairly typical guests at Indulgence: attractive and well to do, seemingly without a care in the world. There was an ineffable sadness between the two, and Lana Spenser, Penny’s childhood friend, believed she knew the cause. The problem between Penny and Nicholas was a prime example of why Lana had established Indulgence in the first place…and Lana had a pair of ladies in her employ that knew just how to handle it.
