The Pursuit

In 1874, Cesar Borgia, Secret Service agent is commissioned by President Ulysses S. Grant to track down and stop a notorious ring of counterfeiters and fraudsters.The president was a man who cold not take no for an answer, especially when he knew he had the right man for the job. He used everything he could think of to get Cesar to take the mission but failed for three straight months. Cesar wasn’t trying to contradict the President and Grant knew that. He was just pointing out that the job entailed men with specialised skills which the secret service did not yet have. Cesar accepts the mission and it takes him to Texas, Arizona, and British Honduras in pursuit of the murderous counterfeiters, always thinking that he caught up with them, but discovers there is more to the conspiracy that meets the eye. On the way to carrying out his mission, he meets different people who have a profound effect on his life, and seems to leave a trail of destruction wherever he goes.
