Zombies. Rednecks. Drugs…
Miguel Hernandez lives in the San Joaquin Valley in a rural town. The hardworking son of a farmer, he gets caught up in a situation that could cost him his freedom...and his life.
Meanwhile, Miguel’s ex-girlfriend, Miranda, is back in town for spring break. Her parents are away, and she’s throwing a big reunion party for all of their friends from back in the day.
When Miguel and his sidekick, Vance, show up at her house party, things don’t go as expected. All hell breaks loose after some of the party guests start having a very strange reaction to some bad meth. Some very, very bad meth.
Soon, all hell breaks out as the party becomes a life-or-death nightmare from which they must fight or flee.
THE TURNING is a thriller set against the backdrop of a blue-collar community. Will the good die young? Will the bad get what they deserve? And will a misfit California dreamer recognize his one last chance to become a hero?
