Enjoyable but lackingI really liked the sound of this book and was excited to read it. The twist ending was one of several scenarios I had guessed throughout the book and I felt quite a good one. However there was a lack of depth around the actual case, the forensic details could have had more to them, and the officers themselves just didn't seem to hold the authority they should have. The story being more of just the main character and the fallout her life takes after finding the body. There were a few parts that seemed a bit pointless to the story and could have been missed out entirely as well as a couple of the characters which didn't really need to be there. There were other events that could have been added instead which would have made the book more realistic and believable. I wanted to love this book but just wish that more time had been put into the development of the case itself.
