UNICEF for Beginners

This is the story of the United Nations Children's Fund, which has been helping countries provide for children's healthy development since 1946. Published to commemorate UNICEF's 50th anniversary, UNICEF For Beginners tells the story of the organization's evolution - from provider of milk for the hungry children of postwar Europe to champion of children's rights in more than 140 countries. UNICEF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from governments, organizations and individuals and from the sale of UNICEF greeting cards and products.
