It maps out the current international human rights agenda by focusing on four interrelated themes. The first concerns the conceptual development of human rights; the second looks at human rights in the Asia-Pacific region; the third considers human rights in a post-Cold War environment; and the fourth assesses the protection and monitoring of human rights.
