Honestly I just don't like the author. All her books are so badly written and honestly this second one was unnecessary just stop at the first please. The smut was also horrifically embarrassing. Also let's not introduce character from ACOTAR I'm begging you no.
Anyway not excited to read the last book but I have to because I have to give all three a chance.
I went through most of this book thinking it will be a 4 star book because the first one was just too good and that this wouldn't match it.I was wrong.As I was pulling into my carpark at work, the audiobook was finishing up and the twist punched me so hard in the face that I had to go to A&E and the wait time is currently 12 hours. And it was worth it.They nearly called security when I told them I got ambushed by a famous author called Sarah J Maas but thankfully the triage nurse had also read the book and understood the situation as she has regular counseling to deal with the trauma.I usually go on about characters, plot and all that but I need time to recover. Maybe I'll update this review once I've calmed down and have escaped A&E.
