This was one of my favourite books as a youbg child and still is now. I think I've read it and re-read it more than any other book. Truly beautiful.

I enjoyed rereading it and seeing the annotations I made in school years ago in it.I still love the story but decided to read it using my audio cds this time.

Absolutely phenomenal! Every fifth or sixth grader should be required to read this book!! A story of perseverance, strength and the importance of kindness. You will want to jump into the book and fix the problems and will not want to put it down to see what comes next! A true "feel-good" book for everyone!!
