Through the lens of humor, Abby Jimenez masterfully captures the essence of those initial blunders that can define a connection, reminding readers that every misstep paves the way for a possible second chance.

Amidst the comedic turmoil, the narrative reveals the resilience of the human spirit. The protagonist embarks on an unexpected journey to discover not just the intricacies of love, but also the importance of self-acceptance. Through a series of mishaps and poignant moments, they learn that the road to affection can often be winding but ultimately rewarding.

As they bravely embrace the uncertainties of romance, readers are treated to a heartwarming tale of growth and fulfillment. In the end, the story celebrates the joy of finding one's perfect match, proving that even the most disastrous beginnings can lead to beautiful outcomes.

They were so infuriating when they were assuming things and not communicating and talking past each other but other than that it was beautiful- made me cry tears of joy at the end wow

Good, cute, fun. Okay, the lack of communication at some points did stress me out a LITTLE bit, buuuut… I let it slide. I let it slide A LOT because I just absolutely LOVED Jacob. I don’t know, I just have a soft spot for a decent MMC. Elsie Silver could really learn how to write proper characters if she read Abby’s books.
