Beschreibung
Ipswich, Inglaterra, 1946.

Alle anzeigenI really loved this book. I was taken back right from the beginning, when Silvana is on the boat with her son, traveling to England to reunite with Janusz. The possibility of being unaccepted by her own spouse who had become a complete stranger was one of her fears. Having been a military wife, I can truly relate to this scenario. I liked how the author showed both sides of Silvana's and Janusz's wartime experience aligned with their present time life. When one wasn't moving along, one of the others pulled you through. Well done, with such a great balance, it created a great flow.I look forward to any future novels by Hodgkinson.
