He is such a dreamer always putting his feelings first, which affects his usage of his "grey cells" and the reason why he feels he's always being mocked by Poirot. This book was more about Hastings than it was of Poirot — contrary to the first one:The previous book was about the marvelous detective, Hercule Poirot, from Hastings POV; this one was more about Hastings's understanding of reality, and how he develops in it. I did like this book better. Can't wait to continue reading to get to know more and more about the adventures of Detective Hercule Poirot and his loyal and sentimental friend, Captain Hastings.
