Beschreibung
Ira Cohen's work invites readers into a world where poetry and visual art intertwine seamlessly. The unique format, with its 14 loose sheets of rice paper in varying sizes, offers an interactive experience that encourages exploration and reflection. Each piece, carefully crafted, presents not just words but a delicate interplay of woodblock prints that enhance the emotional landscape of the poetry.
As the reader navigates through the foldouts, they encounter marvels both seen and felt — a celebration of creativity that transcends the traditional boundaries of literature. Cohen’s innovation transforms the act of reading into a multisensory journey, where each turn of the page reveals a new layer of artistic expression.
