Jack Kelley was subject to a life of invasive social experimentations. Growing up with parents who used him to shed a light on the human condition, Jack’s development resulted in social exclusion.

Unwilling to succumb to his tainted family history, Jack chose to follow his brilliant mind into the world of science in an attempt to understand human behaviour—particularly his own. Consequently, Jack’s curiosity and need for social interaction overshadowed his sense of rationality by beginning trials of drug and alcohol experimentation, leading him down an intoxicated road, scattered with regretful obstacles left behind him.

Through his experiences under the intoxicating influence of drugs and alcohol, Jack realized on which aspect of human behaviour he should focus his scientific mind: addiction.

Along with the love of his life, Candace, who captured Jack’s intrigue and heart as a heroin-addicted call girl, Jack engaged himself in the world he had once left behind.
