Danny ‘Lucky’ Thornton has always felt like a misfit in his own life. Born in 1895, he grapples with the challenges posed by a crippling asthma condition that loomed over him from a young age, making his early years a battle for survival. As he navigates a world that seems indifferent to his struggles, he confronts the complexities of fate and chance, all while trying to carve out a semblance of joy amidst the chaos of his existence.
As Lucky grows older, he discovers that life is a tapestry woven with both challenges and unexpected opportunities. His journey is both a quest for physical resilience and a deeper understanding of what it means to truly embrace one's identity. Through vivid experiences and a cast of unforgettable characters, he learns to redefine his perception of luck and confronts the very notion of destiny itself.
