Aveva chiuso il suo cuore e con gli uomini, ma, c'e' stato qualcosa in Layton che è riuscito a demolire la corazza dietro la quale si proteggeva per non soffire più. Nel romanzo incontriamo anche i migliori amici dei protagonisti Courney e Reed, lei affermata free lancer, legge romanzi per vivere, e lui che ci prova con lei in ogni modo prendendola anche in giro per il suo fidanzato di carta. Questi due hanno molto potenziale e sono convinta che la loro storia ci riserverà delle sorprese. La storia di Layton e Whitley è dolce e fa sognare il lettore, nel romanzo sono presenti anche alcune scene erotiche non volgari, che arricchiscono il romanzo. Non mi resta che aspettare e vedere cosa ci riserveranno Courtney e Reed.
